2 mystery chicks!

EEs have NO STANDARD. I believe that both of your questionable chicks are in fact EEs. I just reared 7 EEs myself. Their cheeks didnt come in until puberty. They now have their lovely muffs. However, 2 of mine looked exactly like yours as chicks. One of them had the eyeliner marking as well. I am going to vote EE on your two chicks. I hope they are they are awesome chickens!

(Due to no standard their legs can be any color and there are many varients in the "breed" so just play it by ear)

I have a whole bunch of these chipmunky mystery chicks! They look just like your photos. I ordered 10 dark cornish, 2 speckled sussex, 2 welsummers, and 3 easter eggers, (along with some birds with more obvious patterns). My 3 easter eggers do not have chipmunk patterns. I'm pretty sure which ones they are based on their slate legs. I'm going to go check for pink legs right now! 4 of my chicks died, and I am desperately hoping I did not lose the welsummers or the sussex.

Good luck identifying your chicks!

Ok i called mpc and found out my order... 2 australops and 1 ee and 1 golden laced wyandotte!!!!!

I think they look like GLW's too. I've got some that looked like that. But... What color are they're legs? Its hard to tell in the photos...
