First off, let me say that chicken math is real! I started with 6, then decided I could handle 8. Started coop construction, and built it for 12, just in case. My in-laws told me they would pay for some coop building materials in exchange for eggs, so then I got 2 more chicks, bringing the total to 10. Then I figured, "meh... What's 2 more?" So now my coop is maxed out at 12.

Here are my 2 newest. They are blue egg laying sex links. One is a barred holland, crossed to a black ameraucana, and the other is a barred holland, crossed to a blue ameraucana.
