2 of my chickens finally squatted!!!

38 weeks old and my Easter egger finally laid an egg!!! I just about fell over when bowed to me last week out of nowhere. A few days later I discovered her digging up the hay in the nest box. Now in the last 5 days she's laid 3 eggs! Guess we'll keep her

Congratulations! My legbar and EE/legbar crosses will be 31 weeks old tomorrow. One xbred has just started squatting in the last few days so I'm hopeful within the next week or so. I opened up the nest boxes today and stuck some fake eggs in there (legbar blue of course .
