2 of my chickens having problems with their eyes.

I have 2 6 week chickens, for the last 3 days both of them have had one eye shut. I've been bathing both with water. One is very lively but the other was lying quiet, not it's usual self and trying to cuddle in to the other hens that I have, we've had very cold weather recently so I've brought the 2 chicks in to the house in case the weather was a factor. You can open both eyes when wiping but they are looking a bit sticky/watery. Has anyone had anything similar?

Yes, they have an eye infection or possib ly something like corzoya , or mycoplasmosis but you can very easily treat this with over the counter eye drops like the ones that are used for pinkeye or stye eye , drop 2-3 drops into the affected eye 4 times a day and this should clear up also if eyelids are stuck together use a soft cotton swab wetted with warm water in order to open up your birds eye first
