2 of my chicks have died- is this normal

The babies are doing great, other than the fact that I got one that has only one wing, and a deformed wing at that. Weird, huh?

I’m sure you did, but make sure you showed them where the food and water is by dipping their beaks gently in their dishes. You need to do this at day 3 because momma isn’t their to do it. Then just watch and make sure they are all eating and drinking; repeat if necessary. Once you get past day 6 or so with everyone eating and drinking, you should be home free.

Since they were sold as pullets, I'm surprized that the sexer didn't notice the deformity as well as the folks responsible for boxing them up.

Can you post pics of your chicks to include one wing?

I'm glad the rest are doing well.
