I am quite certain if DG catches it, he will shoot it for that reason. It wont be finding it's way back. I feel bad, but yet I don't. KWIM?

FWIW, I think my DH is more convinced it's a fisher or a fox at this point. I will let everyone know though.

Hey Attack Chicken. Could be more than one predator. We are sure our cats were taken by a fisher. They leave no trace......

Just wanted to pop in an give a quick update..........

Our cat came back, and I realized also that we are only down 2 hens not 3.

math wiz I am.

Our cat came home saturated from her waste to her tail in motor oil, but it seems her disappearance was coincedental to the hen attack I guess.

We have set our have a hart trap for tonight, so if we get anything good I will continue to update.

I never leave the YARD without all the gates to the yard and both doors to the coops locked ... the total flock is contained in 2 runs that are totally secured and attached to the coops .

We have a trench dug around the whole perminator of the coops and runs and wire is buried 1 ft. deep .

Nothing can get in and they certainly can NOT get out .
