2 Opington chicks with what I belive is spraddle leg

Will do, I'll take a pic now.

TwoCrows - do we stand them in the glass with or without the cuffs? Which is best?

Thanks for all your suggestions guys, I'm really not ready to give up on these guys, they're so strong in all other respects....just want them to stand up!

Some pics... is it spraddle or something else?

We tried the small cup suggestion and they did try to get out but not really by pushing up on their feet, more of a wing flap jerky motion. they got tired pretty quickly too, which could be a good thing? I also noticed they are sitting on the outside of their hocks, if you follow me? You can see the callus developing on the dark chick - top photo.

As you can see they are very relaxed when being handled, would be a huge shame to lose such neat personalities.

Please don't hold back...we don't want to give up on these guys if they'll pull through.

Thanks!

Keep them taped up and yes, stand them up in the glasses while taped. From the pics, I think the legs are just weak, possibly from slippery surfaces in the incubator at hatch, temperature issues during incubation or from genetics passed down. I REALLY think you need to add vitamins to the water. I have seen weak chicks recuperate quickly from the B vitamins added.

Good luck!
