2 questions about Elector PSP

Hi all,

My bottle of Elector PSP has separated. I spoke with the manufacturer who says that, legally, he has to advise against reconstituting it. He was unwilling to elaborate on the "legally" part of it. I'm wondering if anyone has had success with reconstituting it? Secondly, does anyone have experience with Captain Jack's Deadbug Juice that is 0.5% spinosad? I don't know what the final concentration is of the spinosad in Elector once it is diluted.

I'm not entirely sure what elector psp is-does it repel insects?
Does it have some sort of expiration date, and how long have you had it?

I've never used it but someone on Amazon asked the question, the answer was that the active ingredient doesn't degrade, but it does settle out. The recommendation was to shake the bottle every 3 or 4 months to keep it from settling. So if you shake it up and it mixes then it may be fine to use. I've linked to the safety data sheet below, there is no mention of or any warning of any issues if it's settled out.

Thank you for your response. I spoke with a vet specialist from the manufacturer. He explained that it is a suspension formula and once it has separated, it cannot effectively be brought back into solution. It likely wouldn't harm the chickens, but also wouldn't do what it's supposed to do. This product is created for large scale chicken operations, which is why it has a tendency to go bad ---- unless we shake it every month or so to keep it in solution. Oh, and in answer to your questions, it is mainly used to get rid of and/or prevent mites. I've had it for about 1 1/2 years. I used it. Loaned it to a friend who didn't use it. When I got it back about 8 months later, it had separated out. I don't see an expiration date on the bottle.

Thank you. I did speak with the manufacturer and they said once it settles out it will not return to its previous state. It probably wouldn't do any harm, but wouldn't do any good either.
