What will harm a full grown Emu? Will an Emu fight or just run away?

A dog or dogs etc.. could possibly take down a single adult emu, if they can catch it. If you have a few emu, and a lone dog etc.. the emu might chase and strike out, bite at the animal. My emu would chase and strike out at our dogs until they got to know them. They will chase off strange dogs, cats and animals they don't see as part of their flock. It often depends on the emus temperament.
