2 Roo's - 8 pullets - 5 hens....what to do?

thank you - I think you are right. Best to rehome one...any idea who might have the better temperament in the future? Or is it a crap shoot? One is wyandotte and one is easter egger

You’ll probably have to wait longer. Right now they’re just cute little kids, and pretty much play nicely. Soon they’ll get into their teenage years, and that’s when the hormones kick in. In a couple months you should have a much better idea of who you want to keep. Both breeds are relatively nice, though I’ve heard there can be aggressive Wyandottes.

I think all together they should be fine. I have my 2 roos with the 9 hens they grew up with since chicks.
