2 roosters 2 hens?

And shouldnt they be laying eggs by now ( or very soon )? Can you tell I'm new at this chicken stuff?

I vote all pullets. Here is a pic of my roo from a few weeks back when he was 17 weeks old for comparison. My Red is now 22 weeks old and his tail feathers are longer now.

ETA: my girls just started laying last week and as of this week 8 of 18 are laying so I would say you should be seeing eggs before too long- don't give up!

Trysh, we have 4 hens also: 2 RIR's like you, one Buff Orphington, and one black Sexlink. The weird thing about our RIR's is the feed store said the chicks were 2 days old when I purchased them, but one Rhodie has a much bigger comb than the other one. Any ideas on why? Maybe they weren't all the same age?

I wouldnt be the one to answer that. I'm new to the chicken world! lol. They say the chicks are usually always 2 days old when they reach the place to be sold. Thats what I was told and two of mine are two weeks younger than the other two and not that different looking.
