hi
looking for someone with personal experience raising two roosters.
okay so here's the story
storm and sooty are BO Roos.
I have hand raised them, they are now 9weeks old....
they are not aggressive, they are both quite placid.
but more and more they don't want to be held/cuddled etc...(they never left my side as chicks) but I figure that's part of them growing up!
my problem is if I pick one up and walk away - the other becomes noticeably upset, he will start jumping up and down, making a whole lot of noise....once the other actually chased after us and flew into my arms to be with his brother!!!????
at first I thought it was super cute that they don't fight, they want to do everything together etc!
but I'm just wondering as they get bigger will this be a problem,
I kinda get the feeling sooty (the larger, more developed alpha roo) thinks storm is his girlfriend??
or am I just over thinking it and they just have a good bond?
I have not experience with chickens or Roos I'm just winging it (pun totally intended)
I'd love to hear from people who have raised Roos together!
I don't have hens and I'm not planning on getting any at the moment!
