Thanks for all the input. I'm leaning more toward an Aracauna now rather than an EE but I'm thinking of a Buff Orpington and a Black Copper Marans for my roos. Everything I've read says they're fairly reasonable, but with men, who knows

Love my BCM Roo

. He's the top dog but I haven't had a lick of trouble out of him. I don't pet him or anything like that but he gladly and comfortably eats from my hand and calls the hens anytime he sees a dish in my hand, haha! Takes great care of his flock which includes a Cuckoo Marans rooster that is nearly twice his size, they have grown up together. Here's Mr. Mash
