2 Urban Hens

Thanks All!

they inspect Coops for legality?

I guess it's technically a "building" and gets inspected as such.
Found some discrepancies in the paper vs. online ordinances, turns out there is a $10 per chicken permit fee, limit 3, instead of a coop fee and a limit of 2.
I was quite impressed the folks at the City were up on the chicken laws!

We're allowed to free-range with supervision from 8am to 8pm.

No roosters.

Already obtained neighbor permission.

Happy how much my 9 year old daughter is learning, just to keep these chicks!

Welcome to BYC. Pretty darn cute coop. Way to play by the rules... :D
I'll give you a year for the chicken math to hit you and then the cute little coop becomes the lower level to the 10x10 second story and planning department??? :lau. Sorry, it happens to the best, most disciplined of us. Once you get chickens and join BYC... you become powerless :jumpy:jumpy:jumpy:jumpy:jumpy:jumpy:jumpy
Just funning you. Welcome to the flock! Cute coop, cute pullets! Looking forward to seeing you around.

Is it a 1-shot or payable yearly?

Yearly.
My daughter thought it was monthly.
When she found out it was yearly she was like, "I made $20 in South Carolina" , one week doing braids at a baseball tournament!

She does my beard.
