Hi all,
New here
I wish I could share a video, but I’m really concerned about one of my new silkie chicks (2.5 weeks old). They are quite lethargic this morning and while I’ve seen them drink water, have a little nibble of chick crumb, and have a regular (small) poop, I’m worried something is going on. It seems like they’re coughing and shaking their head? There’s no visible mucus or anything from the nose or eyes, but it sounds like a deep croupy cough and I can tell it’s bugging them. I tried isolating right beside the brooder by their friends, but that was so stressful and they kept trying to jump out and were crying out so I put them back.
Any and all advice or suggestions are greatly appreciated! Many thanks.
