She is having a hard time pooping. I took a video, but I don’t know how to upload it.

Can I continue to give the medicated chick feed?I’m thinking you should maybe start them on corid just in case it’s coccidiosis. It wouldn’t hurt them to treat them for that if that’s what is causing the chick’s diarrhea.
Dosage just in case you need it:
2tsp liquid corid per gallon of water or 1.5 tsp of powder corid per gallon of water
This is given for 5-7 days as their only water source.
Actually, her is not running at all. She just seems to be straining to pass it.I did help her by wiping with a warm, wet paper towel, and this is what she was having a hard time passing
I wasn’t able to upload the video so I took a still shot. You can see how she’s pushing and having difficulty.Actually, her is not running at all. She just seems to be straining to pass it.
Yes you can!Can I continue to give the medicated chick feed?
I will try that as well. I am a fanatic about butt checking. That’s why I was so surprised to see this at this morning’s butt check. 90 degrees. I put her in her own brooder on paper towels.Try chilling some coconut oil, and then cutting some small peckable pieces, and offer it to her. That can help with constipation. Using a QTip to apply a little vaseline or olive oil to her vent may help too. How warm is your brooder? Check for pasty butt daily, since it can happen again.
