2 Week Old Chick Eye Swollen Shut

Injured chicks can end up becoming the runt of the batch pretty easily, and it's not unusual for them to be wary of other birds while healing. She may still receive unwanted attention from curious other chicks on her bad side that keeps her in defensive mode. Especialy if she ends up partly or fully blind on that side it's normal for birds with impared vision to be stand-offish. Aside from keeping up with eye care, just make sure that she isn't getting bulled out of access to food and water and is eating and drinking well.
Thank you!!

Hi again, our little girl’s eye is still shut all the time but looks so much better from a swelling / infected perspective. Should I keep rinsing with saline and applying antibiotic ointment a few times a day? Any thoughts on bringing her to a local vet for treatment, or she just may need more time for the eye to heal and hopefully work? Thank you!

What does her eye look like inside. Is the eye intact and normal or is therek any gunk inside? I would keep using the ointment. Rinsing depends on if there is any gunk inside.
