Sorry...I'll try to upload pictures today.
Such a cutie pie!
That sounds good, thanks!Such a cutie pie!
I'm not sure what that is. I'd lean toward a hernia.
Right side of the bird, I'm trying to visualize internals, so hernia is my guess.
I'll tag in @Eggcessive and @coach723 to see what their thoughts are.
If she's eating/drinking, pooping, growing and relatively active, I would not attempt to drain anything, I'd monitor it.
Sorry, the pic is a bit confusing. Yes, it is on Hazel's left side.Um... I believe it is on the chick's left side? Or am I being dyslexic? Confusing with the bird upside down. @GuineaMania can you confirm which side of the bird the bulge is on, please?
It seems to go down a tiny bit, but comes right back up when I release the pressure. It used to be soft and fluid-like, but in the last couple of days it has become firmer. This makes it hard to press on, and she's obviously uncomfy when I do that.If you push on it, gently, does it get smaller or disappear, and then reappear when you release pressure?
If she's acting normally, eating, drinking, pooing all normal, I would be inclined to just monitor, unless something changes or gets worse.
Yes! You're right, it is on the left.Um... I believe it is on the chick's left side? Or am I being dyslexic? Confusing with the bird upside down. @GuineaMania can you confirm which side of the bird the bulge is on, please?
