I took a look at the LA craigslist and I'm kinda mad there isn't as much tech stuff here. Oh well.

I did take a peak inside and it does already have 4 4 gig ram sticks which is OK for now. As expected I will need to buy a graphics card and eventually an sad but the sad is a bit lower priority

4 4GB sticks should equal 16GB, which should be enough to make it usable.

Wait for SSDs to go on sale on amazon or something like that. Bought a 500GB for cheap ($30). Use that as the boot drive instead of the HDD in it.
