My little friends I hatched out are already two weeks old! First time attempting to incubate eggs and got 4 out of 6 hatched/healthy.
I already suspect the one in the foreground is a cockerel..

We’ll see! I’m hoping for only 1 at most since I already have my rooster and don’t think there are enough hens for multiple
If you hatch or buy unsorted chicks you should always count on at least 50% roosters.
I was lucky a few times with 2 pullets and one cockerel. But once 5 chicks hatched and I only had one pullet. Fortunately I had no problems rehoming the 4 cockerels.

I know I was risking getting cockerels just being hopeful! I’ll be able to find homes for the ones I can’t keep I luckily have family members and friends who keep chickens too and said they would take one
