One of my 2 week old guinea keets fell from about 2 to 3 feet while I was transferring them to a warmer spot. He landed on his belly and was initially fine, but had trouble standing.

He was on his side kicking his legs, but I picked him up and he's now sitting under my hand. I'm worried that he might have internal injuries or fractures. Is there anything I can do to save him?

It depends on whether the chick fell on its head or back and if there is damage to the spinal cord. Most of the time, even the youngest of chicks can right themselves in mid-air and flutter little wings to cushion the landing, but once in a while, they land wrong and it's all over. You'll know by the end of the day if this chick has suffered such damage. But try giving it some warm sugar water. This could revive the chick. If you have Poultry Nutri-drench, stir some into the water along with the sugar, a teaspoon of sugar to a cup of water.

He landed on his belly, I have poultry cell that I could give him. He will run in an attempt to find another warm spot if I take him out from under my shirt, but it's a very low to the ground run. Maybe bc he's sore? He's been sitting in place a lot, but that could just be bc he's sore. I'll keep an eye on him and give him some poultry cell. Should I give him some sugar water as well?
