2 Week Old Leghorn

Well, I was super friendly to Picotee here, and he hates me. So I'll do the opposite and kind of ignore Cayenne. Just look at him giving me the eye.....

Awww! At least he's adorable!
Had a little hamburg guy with that same evil gleam in his eye! Used to dive bomb me from the coop roof like a tenacious blue Jay!

Yeah, it's a good thing he's tiny. He is literally my smallest bird.

Hey - having a rotten older rooster won't influence my younger rooster, will he???

That. That there is something I would worry about! Except I don't know first hand. My little bundle of feathered love took on a hawk and lost, and I've never had a bad and a new at the same time. Two bads, two goods, but never both. After my little guy did such an amazing imitation of true evil intended flight, I stuck to silkies and bigger land bound boys, myself!

🤣🤣🤣🤣
He must've been reincarnated as Picotee, I tell you. It's like I love him and hate him at the same time. I tell him every day that he should've been a girl.

Well... I hate to experiment this way, but I'm gonna. I want to try to do this right.

On the plus side, my top hen, Zinnia, will suffer no fools. She runs off Picotee daily. Won't let him mate her. If she ever squats for Cayenne, then I KNOW he's a keeper.
