about 2 weeks ago I got 5 silkies, an olive egger and 2 midnight majesty maran. Everyone was fine until about 4 or 5 days ago i noticed one silkie wasn't coming out to eat or drink with the others. And that it was half the size if the rest of the silkies. The next day it was getting knocked around and trampled so I moved it and a maran to their own tote.

At this point the chick is unable to stand. For a day or 2 it would only take in water and that was through a dropper. Yesterday it started dipping its own beak once I take it to the water dish and today its both drinking water when I take it to the water and eating raw egg yolk on its own if i take it to it. As well as pecking at the ground around it while laying down. But it still can not stand. What causes something like this and how do I fix it?

It is finally pooping noticeably and looks normal just a bit watery from the lack of solids. The water has the rooster booster additive in it with the vitamins electrolytes and probiotics which its been on since this all started.

Please help. This chick is really fighting to stay alive so I want to do my best.

Does it have curled toes ? I just had to deal with this with one of my babies i hatched on the 6th .. but mine also had splayed legs so I made a rubber band braces and shoes , as of today it is finally up walking around I only left the brace on one day and the shoes for a couple days.

They curl when its relaxed but it can strsighten them. This whole thing is so weird. All I can think is a vitamin deficiency.
