2 week old wheaten marans, feathering in make it female please?

I have to agree with you @Alexandra33! I know everyone loves the French Black Copper Marans, but I am super fond of the Wheatens and Birchens.

I'm not alone, then! Black Coppers seem to be most popular, namely for their chocolate eggs and availability. Surprisingly, though, BCs have probably been my least favorite of all Marans varieties so far. Not sure if it's genetics, or simply coincidence, but mine were/are the least personable. Blue Splash, Black, Golden Cuckoo, Wheaten, and Black Tailed Buff barge into your business at every turn.

Nice day to be out and about today. No wind, cold and sunny.

The 3 wheaten marans are 24 days old. One of them is black in the wings, but the breasts still look quite light.

I see the breast has begun to feather in on one of them! So far, it's screaming pullet.
