2 week old with spraddler?

Here's my chick with the problem.

He's in the brooder with everyone else, but in a separate box. So he's not getting run over, but can still hear the others. He's still heating and drinking.

Do I have the bandage right?

This chick is 2 weeks old. Was fine till we noticed it this afternoon.
Could it be something else?

Any advice is appreciated.

You have the splint right, but put a rough surface in his brooder. The paper is too slippery. Good luck, hope he recovers cause he's darn cute!

I used the generic rubber waffle weave shelf liner for the first week or so, to give traction. It really works, and you can wash it and reuse or throw it away. I found it at Dollar General. Even though your chick is older, it would help.


BTW, that larger chick could use some hobbles, he's pretty spraddled as well!
