Could be any number of breeds at this age. He's looking a bit Roo-ish. His beak seems weird too, kind of short and down pointing. Maybe just me. Check out Speckled Sussex as well. He's adorable. Keep babying him and handling a lot and he'll be so sweet and protective.

We bought 3 birds from our local feed store.They were supposed to be all pullets and a mix of "rare breeds." We think the other two are a Polish and a Cochin.Could this one be a an Easter Egg Chicken? Ameraucanas?

Easter Egger, has a beard and a pea comb. That comb does look like its starting to get red :/ could be a roo. Roosters usually feather in slower.
He looks like my dark cornish/ee chicks did when they where little.
Are you allowed to keep roosters?

It's an EE - but right now it's too young to say if it is a roo or not.
