2 year old buff Orpington hen not laying anymore?

its July and Pauline hasn't laid an egg since sometime this winter. She seems very healthy but possibly a bit overweight. She gets layer feed and I offer oyster shells. This Spring I thought she was laying again because I caught her in the nest a couple of times but other than those times I haven't seen her in there and we are out near the coop a lot. A couple of other factors... She is growing Spurs. She is definitely the top of the pecking order. We got rid of a hen a few months ago. I have checked for parasite and no visible signs of illness or anything like that. She was a super layer in her first year. Is it possible she is just done laying?

Interesting! I never knew that. I suppose that is a possibility! I hope she can lay an egg every once in a while too! Lol.
