2 year old female duck can't walk after drake overbred her.

twice her size? oof, yah if he got winded half way thru and decided to take a break then continue, her head may have been under water a while ! Im not done yet, im jus catchin my breath !!

How's your duck doing?

I saw that you'd also posted in another forum, but it's not clear if you have other ducks with your drake - if your Rouen is the only female with your drake, getting some additional ducks (females) would likely help take some of the pressure off her if/when she's put back in with your Pekin drake. It sounds lucky that she wasn't drowned.

A good duck-to-drake ratio is typically at least 3 to 4 ducks per drake. As you know, drakes are very active breeders.
