2 year old hen has not began laying yet. Something wrong???

My little black silkie hen is 2 years old next month she laid really good last year. She stopped laying I think around November. All of my hens has began laying even my 4 year old hen has. She gets scracth and laying pellets daily and has free choice to oyster shells at all times. Is something wrong with her? no changes no stress I just don't understand it. Is this normal?

No she has not been free ranging she has a coop with a run of 10x5.

How much scratch? Scratch is more like chicken candy. Maybe limit the scratch and continue with the layer. You might also try the layer mash instead of the pellets. I feed pellets too but my Silkies like the mash more.

yeah mine seem to like the mash better but I think more of it gets wasted then the pellets. They get scracth once a week.

Should I pick her up and examing her bottom for anything unusal?

I checked my hens underside and everything looks normal I felt her stomach and nothing feels swelled or slender nothing adnormal.

i have 6 1yr old hen that didn't start laying till yesterday. might just be a light thing.
