This is my second olive egger in just 2 weeks that has had a vent issue. I am not sure what's going on. They are in a flock of 12 hens, no rooster. They are all the same age. I've never had any health issues with them at all. They don't free range. Last week the other olive egger had a prolapsed vent with a lot of yellow discharge and blood. She was straining but upon examination we found no egg inside. I did Epsom soaks, tums and some miconazole. After 3 days she was back to her feisty self. Now this girl I noticed was hanging back not coming for her snacks and her butt was bloody and bruised. I did a soak and tums. Although she isnt straining anywhere near like her sister. The next day she just was on the roost all day and isolating herself. Her vent looks much better but has a small amount of whitish drainage. Im actually more concerned about the way she is acting. I also was getting 9-11 eggs away a few weeks ago and now I'm getting 5- 6. They were also laying very misshapen and some fairy eggs. Im not sure who's laying what but its abnormal for the flock and I don't want anyone else getting sick. Thank you for any advice. Attaching some photos first is the first sick hen who's better, second is hen im dealing with now and the other photos are some of the crazy eggs we have been getting.
