Can you get an updated photo?

Has the tissue shrunk at all?

It's not uncommon for fecal matter to leak when there's a prolapse. Have you tried pushing it all back in after cleaning?

I'll get more updated photos today. It maybe shrunk a tiny bit, not much. I got it in a few times but she immediately strains and it comes right back out.

Im attaching photos from today. I cleaned it and tried to put it back in and got it back in, twice. But both times after just a few seconds she strains and stands straight up in penguin stance until she forces it back out. She is extremely thin I can feel her keel and I don't feel any eggs or any thing inside? I am not sure why she won't stop pushing. I am giving her the calcium daily, I apply ointment every few hours, and after her soaks and cleaning I put preparation H on it to try and help with the swelling. Nothing seems to be making any difference. Im really getting concerned about her. I have also added hydrohen to her water because she is losing fluids like crazy. She seems to only want to drink. I got her to eat a few raspberries and that was all.

the first pic is her soaking and refusing food. Second is before soak third is after.

any suggestions on how to get the white crust off? Even with the ointment and soaking its crusted on and hard.

Look at her sweet face

She may have some material or lash she's trying to expel, hard to know.

With the crusty urates and material, usually a prolapse will not stay in for long.
The crust will slough off as the tissue underneath begins to heal, but you can also put some mineral oil on it to see if it will come loose/detach a bit more easily.

A prolapse can take a good while to heal, so keep up with what you are doing and hope that it will heal soon.

Shes a very sweet girl. She likes to sit on my shoulder while I clean their run. Thank you for the advice about the mineral oil! I will pick some up today and keep trying. I just hate seeing her so miserable. I also am sending a fecal sample in today too. Just to be sure all is well with that.
