20 americauna eggs We have 7 babies, but one is not good.

Day 21 started at 10pm last night and right on schedule heard peeping just as I was going to bed. I had two pips one you can see breaking the membrane and the other has a big hair crack going from the middle up to the top of the shell and peeping away. I think some will be late because my temp was low at times. One question I have ones that incubated in a lg but I just bought and recieved my 1588 which is working beautifully. Should I still keep the temp around 100 degrees?

I have three breaking out of the shells and two have just started. My last batch did not start til mid of day 22. They really respond of my whistling versus peeping. I have another batch that went off the turner last night in another incubator and we already have a crack going and we are trying the egg carton style with these. Maybe by the end of the weekend I will have several babies.

I got my order from Cutler yesterday.

Nobody is out yet but expecting my first one out soon. She is poking her beak out. We now have 6 pips! I swear one minute it isn't there and the next you see it cracking.

We have a baby it is either a black or blue americauna. She(I think) has a feminine head but who knows and she is very tired but moving around. My humidity shot up though to 78%, I took out the water cup and she seems like she's breathing okay. It is a little stuffy in the bathroom I keep the bator in so I put on the fan vent to the br.

We still have three more pipping but we have 4 healthy babies!!! I have one black, one white and two blues! Honestly I am happy for what I have achieved so far. They are so adorable, the first one is done right beautiful. Now I am having fun! I know we have a long night ahead of us, but who needs to sleep?

Whoo hoo!! Congrats and hope the rest of your babies arrive safe and sound!

I'm on day 19 myself with 20+ blue/black/spl ameruacanas...

We have seven little ones but the last one was really small and seem paralyzed on his right leg. Another one has spraddle leg but I think I can fix that. We ended up with one white, two splashes, 2 blues, 2 blacks. I'm going to cull I think the one that is parlayzed. I checked the rest of the eggs only one is still moving but not pipping, but I think I will give them to tomorrow to be sure. I have another hatch that is due tomorrow, and I feel bad about culling him. He is lively but just lies down and squirms around, This is the part I hate but since I'm trying to put together a breeding flock and don't think he would have much of a life even if he lived.
