20 day old chicks integrated with 1.5 and 2.5 year old hens

Same thing happened as last year, I opened my chick hatch door bu I forgot to size it a little smaller and within 3 minutes my Easter egger was in the chick run. So right after this photo I just opened up the man size door between the runs. There’s been 4-5 pecks but hens aren’t hunting down chicks. Will be good to go.

Very nice! Earliest I'm thinking of letting my chicks out this year from brooder to mini pen is at the 14 day mark, and then first "panic door" access will probably be at 18-19 days old.

Skinny EEs can get into almost anything!
