20 Week old Pekin Duck. What gender is he/she?

I don't know if you can vent sex at that age... I've only heard of vent sexing on ducklings, but maybe. You may want to ask this question in the duck section.

If it quacks it's a girl. If it rasps quietly it's a boy. Only girls can QUACK that loud noise. Later in maturity a boy will also get a curled up feather above his tail on mallard derived breeds, like Pekin.

The voice change happens around 5/6 weeks of age.

This is my duck's voice. Can you tell if it's a boy or a girl? I think it is more of a girl sound.

Its Male his voice is raspy, females would be much louder and clearer.

At 20 weeks, that duck is fully feathered. If it is a drake, he will have a drake feather and a ratchet voice.

If it is a duck, she will have a loud quack and no drake feather.

There really isn't any reason to vent sex a 20 week old duck.

I found that my duck does not have a drake feather. But he/she has that raspy sound.
