I have three and ive been back and forth on their gender. Not my first time with silkies, these are literally my chickens babies. It is, however, the first time ive been this baffled by gender. They have tiny waddles, and tiny combs, though they are larger than their mothers. But also much smaller than dads. I also have another cockerel from a diff hatch, that is obviously male, and been obviously male for a month. (He's 2 weeks younger than these. Same group of parents, different mama hatched him)

Behavior wise, they act very hen. Calm, no hormonal issues. Posture is low to the ground ect. No crowing.

Sometimes I think im seeing streamers, but they also still have the casing on feathers in spots so it could be that... maybe. Then some of their tail feathers seem thicker like their fathers. Ik ppl say wait until 20 weeks, but if im being honest ive known my boys were boys, at around 15-16 weeks. So tell me what you think! (Also didn't bother with comb pics, as id have to have 3 hands to be able to pull their crests back and take a pic.)

Also sorry some of the pics may be out of order, its a white(99% sure white is a lady so much fewer pics of her), buff, and buff partridge. Darker tail is partridge!

Ill try tomorrow I'll have to get my daughter to hold them for me haha!i did take this of my cuties before bed though
Very nice silkies you have!

Is this the middle one? Buffs and chocolate silkies are worse than other colors to sex, but I'd definitely vote cockerel on this one.

That's the buff partridge! Im honestly split 50/50 on this one. Im going to dig around in its crest tomorrow to see if it still has casing on its plumage. (Buff one does for sure), I'll also try to get a good Pic of their combs. And thank you for the compliment! I think their fathers is stunning. Mom's too, ofc. But my roo is a doll!
