I built this for my wifes Japanese bantam project.
It cost $232 for every thing you see in pics. That's wood, wheels, tarp, paint, nails, screws cattle panel, chicken wire (150' roll enough for two more coops this size ) bailing wire....... every thing. It took two days start to finish about 5 hours on Saturday 6 hours on Sunday. Very easy project for beginners to expert carpenter's . Its very easy to move. I made sure she can move it by herself . I'm more of a free range chicken owner . Im Lazy

That's nice!
Love the nest wall.
Are there roosts?

Tho the chicken wire is not predator proof and hardware cloth would probably add another $100 to the cost.

Can you post a pic of it with the wheels in rolling position?
How big in diameter are the wheels?

Thanks
The wheels are 10"
The pics were taken before the roost was added.
Haven't had a predator attack in 10 years . we keep great pyrenees and catahoula hog hunting dogs.

Quote: Ahh, 24/7 dogs make everything different...but still a good point on security and cost for others that look at this design.

Would love to see roosts and wheels in operation.

I'll try and take some pics tomorrow

Wheels in motion pic........and what is your climate location?

Thanks!
Would you put your location in your profile?
So do you have to stick that bolt in there to hold the coop in the mobile position, is it threaded in or just pushed in??
Is the pivot point tight enough that wheel lever stays upright when coop is in the stationary position?
