2009 Kankakee IL Bird Swap dates

i wanted to go but i couldnt persuade my parents to go the hour and a half at 4 am maybe next time

It was packed with people but didn't seem as packed as last month, I think the threat of rain kept some sellers and buyers away. It was still a lot of fun! We walked around for about 1 1/2 hrs and left with a couple chicks so it was a good morning.

The next Kankakee swap is SUnday September 6th.

We are planning on cutting back on several breeds and possibly selling out on a few breeds. Still trying to make the final decisions, but regardless, we will have lots of birds to sell. Hope to see you there.

Does anyone know if you need a pullorum Typhoid clean certificate to sell chickens and guineas at the Kankakee Bird Swap on Sept. 6?? I have never been there.
