I go and make dinner and look what I miss ....

I think the name thing is great - I have now in my possession a quilt made for dh's grandmother when she retired. It has the names embrod. in the middle of each block.

There are also permanent fabric markers that can be used for this. I

I already started my block and not sure where I'd put my name on it though!!! I can't believe how the list is growing. I am so excited to get my blocks!!!

I am thinking of ordering some just for myself to add to my own quilts, this way I can get 2 birds with 1 stone.

Here's a neat site with tons of patterns. Stumbled across this one for signature quilts. Would also be nice for those "chicken" patterns with the focus fabric fussy cut in the middle. Whad'ya think?

WHOA!!!

I read the first couple of posts about the Quilt of the month. Then I fixed dinner, watched a little TV with my daughter and when I checked back --- 26 pages of response!!!!! I have NOT read all the entries (it could grow to 30 before I am even done!!!).

I would like to participate!!! I am happy to produce a 12.5 inch square. I don't care what colors are in the square I receive!!! Chicken prints would be great!!!

The response is SO overwhelming, I am sure that you will have to re-think how you are going to do this!! Let me know if you need help!!!

I KNOW!!! I thought catching up on the crochet thread was a feat, I had to skim several pages of this one, wow!!! What a response Wild!!! Your square is beautiful btw!!! Didn't expect anything less than perfection from you anyway though
