I was disappointed when they called us last night to cancel church!

Ok, Wildsky... I'll give paper piecing a try. It might be a couple of days, though. I gotta get this quilt for grandma-in-law pieced! I ended up gone part of the day, so I haven't gotten much done! I still have a couple hours until bedtime, though.

I print out DOUBLE the amount of pieces I need, I use one set to cut the fabric out (cutting each little piece out) - the other set for piecing. Might be overkill but it works for me.

and here I was bragging to myself how much I've gotten accomplished. As in, I now look at my machine with a grin instead of a smirk. And there you guys are, showing off how many squares youve gotten done..etc..

Well I didn't feel like going to the store today, but I was craving something sweet to eat. I still had some Oatmeal/Raisin cookie dough left so I baked them up, and then decided I wanted more cookies on hand so I made Peanut Butter/Oatmeal cookies as well.

In the meantime I went through my stash of fabrics to find materials for the blocks and wound up washing two loads of fabrics. Now they are dried and waiting for the iron and then ... deciding on a pattern to make the blocks with.
