Chicken Women-you sound like me! I couldn't believe how quickly those bits and pieces of fabric (and all of those gidgy gadgets that one MUST have) can add up, only to be carted home in one bag! LOL

I find it very easy to spend hours in any fabric store. But, it is so much fun! There is something therapeutic about it.

Though I am having a hard time finding chicken related fabric. (

Got all the rest of my fabric washed and ironed last night so I thought I would make my second block today...is Zoo my second person? It looks abit that way but there is alot of distance between our letters so I am not quite sure...Acre? Wild?

I hope to get going on my blocks soon. I've been working hard to get DH's grandma's quilt done since her birthday is at the end of the month (I probably have it about 40% quilted). I have a 3 day weekend, so I will hopefully get it done if I work really hard. Although, I'll have to spend some of this weekend packing. We finally have a closing date and it is coming fast! I can't wait!

the block I'm making is trying to drive me insane... its intentional!!!

I measure and remeasure, and the size still isn't quite right!

I'm trying to avoid looking at it. it just depresses me at this point.
