Congrats Beth glad to hear you and hubby have a move in date. It will be a lot of work but sooooooooooo worth it.


Marlin yes I am a she, well at least last I heard I was a she LOL. I went shopping for your block today the fabric just jumped at me LOL. I thought that is Marlin so I bought it LOL. Now to figure out the block. The lady who cut it asked what I was making so I told her I needed to make a loud and obnoxious block and she said that it is all that but it will look great, if that is true I reached my goal for your block.


Chicken Woman I went into JoAnn's yesterday as well, I spent $72 so I know how you feel. Bought alot of flannel for pj bottoms as the red tag fabric is 50% off thru tomorrow.

I have been having a ball with this swap and everyone I tell about it thinks it is so cool. I also bit the dust and joined the Spring block swap, there are only 6 signed up for that right now 7 with me and the 3rd week of March is the dead line so I joined. Amy said she didn't think more than 20 would join. So if ya think ya can do a few blocks by the middle of March last years was great I loved all my blocks. They can be simple and spring on the farm is the subject. And if ya only do 1 a day then you would have more than enough time for that swap as well. Sure hope to see more join it.

I am so honored that you want it!!! Yeah!! A rookie quilter in the kentucky derby of guilting here so yes I am pleased that tomatoes aren't being thrown my way, lol!!! Thank you all for the encouragement, it really does help a quilting newbie!! You're all the best!!!

If the list shows me making for MomofDrew and Zoo RIGHT now I figure that should be who I have for THIS month and NEXT month someone else, right? Either way, I have theirs in a envelope for them.

If preferences don't change we should really be able to make for everyone on the list and just save it until they follow us, seems so anyway, lol!​

Chevy-- I got the blocks in the mail yesterday and they are beautiful. I

them. I'll try to get picks up soon.

Scrambled---I love the blue chicken fabric, I haven't seen any of that around here. It is really pretty and the block is pretty to.


I was able to get one block sewn together last night and got another cut out. I am using the Jacob's ladder pattern. I'll post picks in a bit.

Again, thank you, I feel so much better today. I will be on this thread today cause skand seems to have taken my place in the joking department. Thakns skand for picking up where I dropped off.

Hey Scrambled glad to see ya got in on the block swap sure hope a few more of ya drop in and join. Amy doesn't think more than 20 will join and if ya join now and so a block a day ya will be done in no time. LOL. Can you say enable much.

Ok all kidding aside today is iron material and plan blocks and do blocks, all inbetween checking the board LOL. House work can wait. Oh wait add playing with 10 pups, and 3 of my dogs to that list. Can't leave anyone out.

Acre, we're so glad to have you back with us! I'm glad you liked the blocks!! You know, I completely forgot to take any pictures before I sent them! lol.
