I tightened the tension thingy on my big purple monster. Hey! I kinda like this thing! I might try to use it more often now!
Question.... which way is easiest to sew,,, with the way the machine makes the material go, or pull it against the way it wants to go? Towards the back, or towards the front?

Don't PULL it Skand, let the machine take it in as fast as it wants to - you just keep a hand on it to keep it straight and steady!

The 25th of January will be the date that I send out the Addresses to each of you for the one that you are to send to.

Oh yes, thank you. I think I knew that. I was just planning ahead and figuring that month one, it was the one below us. Month 2, it was the 2nd below us. So in my figuring, these are the people I do for. What I was asking is do we go all the way back around to us again, or is it just 12 months, 12 people.

L - amyquilt - anything goes!
M - Marlinchaser - Bright and obnoxious.
N - Scrambled Egg - country/earth tones.
O - Momofdrew - anything goes.
P - chicken women - Brown, maroon, sage greens.
Q - stitch-a-bility - Greens, pinks, browns and blue
R - Redhen -
S - Puff of Fluff - senders favorite color/s
T - #1California Chick - anything goes. Chicken prints would be good.
U - ChevygirlBeth - earthy tones, not brights, whites and no pink.
V - Amyquilt - anything goes.
W - Chicken women - brown, maroon, sage greens

Poor, poor amyquilt. She gets two from me .... So does chicken women ... you guys really are suckers for punishment!!

Am I making sense?? Or is the blonde showing through ....

It tends to happen a lot around here!!! I thought I would just sit down and get everyone's done and do the ones for my spring swap too on the other thread.

I think that I need to sign up again so I can receive blocks from everyone! I just love it here! Gives me something to look forward to in my email!!!! Yep, go ahead and sign me up again for another ...

Don't get tooooo ahead of the game, in a month names might change - folks might leave or new people sign up. Unless you want to keep your blocks if something changes, don't go making Marlins block or anything you wouldn't keep yourself.

My sewing machine is calling me!

Oh by the way this is my test I made a mistake on the eyes but I was trying things out.... other than the wrinkle would you be disapoitned?

Heck NO! I wouldn't be dissapointed at all, I would love something like that. This isn't a contest on skill level, it's supposed to be a fun thing. It's the thought behind the square that counts. Knowing that it was made in friendship makes it special. I can't wait to see what everybody does with their squares to make their quilts.

Sure hope you're right because I might be considered advanced in crochet and about ten other crafts but in quilting I am barely in the beginner section!!! What an awesome quilt, or two or three depending on how long this effort continues, would be incredible with the different skill levels, I really like the thought of it!! I'm thinking a pretty jelly roll and sew the squares together, muslin on the back and keepsakes!!! Awesome work everyone!!!
