I'm too chicken (hah) try try more complicated blocks yet, I like the Ohio stars, and I really understand their assembly, I'm hoping by swapping every month like this I'll get braver and try some new designs. That block really is gorgeous! THANK YOU!!!

This swap has challenged me to try some different patterns that I may not have otherwise tried. It's been good for me... I'm getting a lot better (I think). Thanks to Jody for her advice after my first attempt for this month's swap. It has helped me tremendously!

I so want to participate in May too!

By the way, I did receive one of my blocks and I love it, but I dont know who Beverly is so... Beverly Thank You! I love it. I will post pics when I get the chance. There is so much to do with the new house.

Wanted to show the quilt I made last week. My DS
is into skull tatoos big time. When skand and some one were talking about the pink skull fabric I knew it would be perfect for his first DD baby quilt. She is not due untill July 29

Sorry I didn't include my screen name. My bad.

I think? I like? the skull quilt? Well, I know I like the quilt, I'm just not too sure about the skulls. Although, if skull fabric was pretty, I guess that fabric would qualify. I mean the more I look at it the cuter it gets.

You should cut one of the heads out and applique it to a onesie. I loved to do that with fabric on onesies. Making ties out of fabric for the boys is supper cute. vans.com has super cute skull baby sets.

Whoa, antique fabric? The pink & black were from 1860's? Or 1930's copies of Civil War fabric? I'm impressed....It's really nice...Thank you! I love antique anything!

I made Skand a block with that skull fabric it was perfect to her LOL. They also had black with pink skulls, those skulls were smaller.

Love the baby quilt. The picture does not show it but that material has silver sparkles all over it. Nice job on that quilt. Congrats on the new Granddaughter.
