When I sewed the Flying Geese part, first I sewed one of the blocks on, then trimmed it (to 1/4 in) and then pressed it out. Then I sewed the second block on (and trimmed it and pressed). You will see that the outer pieces overlap and the "point" is approximately 1/4" from the edge. When you sew that piece onto the center square, the overlapped part will be inside the seam and the "point" will just touch the seam line. Or at least that it how it is supposed to work!!!

Zoo, so sorry about your son's broken ankle, hope it heals fat and you don't have too many ringing bells to answer!! When my daughter got her wisdom teeth out someone gave her a bell to ring thinking it would be funny to summon the mother maid..my daughter used it!!!

Yes, I am doing apinwheel in the Quilted Rooster Swap...branching out from the applique...and Luna will probably be my first guinea pig since she is one of my block recipients for may and she already has an applique from me!

Scrambled's husbands family is from the same town that my family is from. That is just to cool.
