Yes, that is EXACTLY what it means!!! 12 inch is the FINISHED size (after you sew it in with other blocks. If you use 1/4 inch seams, then the block will be 12 1/2 inches BEFORE you sew it to others and 12 inches AFTER you sew it to others. Patterns are listed by their FINISHED size (so 12 inches).

Wow, some incredible looking blocks here! Awesome first effort Roses and Nankat, your two are A++++++!!! Very nice both of you!! I forgot Bookworm wanted baby related materials, I'll be "forced" (yeah right!!!) to make a trip to Joann's or Hancock's if I get her name next month...oh the torture......

I am still in the applique mood so my three folks, Chevy, Crevs and Leeps will all get applique from me, something new and cute I think!! And since I have no camera cable or memory card right now..thank you puppy...they will be a total surprise..no pics...I have them half done already!

Good-morning Ladies.....

Just went back and I have gotten myself caught up on all that is going on here. I am so glad to see that you all are having such a great time with the swap.

We here have been so busy all week with cottage prayer meetings (had prepared more than enough refreshments for 30+ people at our house), Revival at Church (watched souls get saved and people submitting to the Will of God), singing (my girls and I love to sing to our Savior), had a yard sale for a Ministry in our little church ( had to wake up at 4:30 a.m. yawn, yawn, hehe), then Resurrection Day Sunrise Service (I was asked to cook biscuits and eggs for 40+ people and had to wake up at 4:30 a.m) To God be the glory!!!!!

Now, what have I to do with all the time I have now? Hmmmm.

OH! I know I can get to work on my block

Right after the girls schooling is done

I hope to see you all back next month and again thank you all for your participation in the swap

LUNA!!!! That is the cutest thing ever!!!! Awesome job on the sewing and I just love that Henri Knitta to death!!!!! Thank you, thank you!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It'll be payday before I can get a new cable and memory card..this puppy chews dvds, I've never seen anything like it, nothing is safe!! If she weren't so sweet otherwise and cute I'd have been mad enough to pinch her head off but she went crazy seeing me and was sweet as pie so I forgave her..but yeah, thanks for posting the picture for me...yours is surprise!!!!!
