**2009 Quilt Block Swap for JUNE**

Thanks you. As my sig says....he was an inspiration to all and I will miss him. The funniest thing he ever told me was.....well one day we were visiting with him and I had sat on the couch beside him. We got to talking about different things and my hubby was telling him how hard I was working around the house. Grandpa took his hand and patted my back and said "thats exactly where a woman should be" and then he said....."good grief girl....you got a back like a mule....I can tell you have been workin". It's just the way he said it that makes me grin still today.

I am not sad that he is gone but I will miss him and the talks we had. He had 99 wonderful years. Mainly though, his life just began in Heaven.



O.K. now back to the swap. Beautiful block Beth even though it is a test block.

Acre, I’m sorry to hear about you grandpa. It sounds like he had a good life and I bet he could tell you some stories of long ago when there were no computers, cell phones, and even TV’s and how people lived back when he was young. As you know he is in a far better place now. My dear MIL passed two years ago and I wanted to go to her grave and celebrate her passing. My DH was upset and said why would you want to celebrate the date my mom died. I told him I’m not celebrating her dieing I’m celebrating her new life with God. I’m sure your grandpa will be surely missed. Love Ginger
