I will attempt to come, I hope to come, but as lately nothing seems to be going right. I will know more as the date approaches.

Also: I have standard pullets available (you get first dibs before craigslist). $15 each.

2 Dark Aseels
2 black Thai Games

2 Golden Phoenix

all these birds came from Ideal Poultry.

Thx,

I know how hard it is to travel when you have to get home and take care of critters.

Texas is a big state and I am kinda centrally located. However,I am pretty far for a lot of people to travel. It would be a great idea to have regional chickenstocks in various parts of the state so more people could participate.

Look on My Pages and see all the members in the Houston area.

Texas is one great big ol' state, huh.

Of course Houston would be convenient for me, but I think San Marcos is a great location too....I don't think 2 hours is really toooo far for me to drive.

There was recently a thread about a BYC Houston meet-up group. I'll try to find it if anyone wants me to.

I do think that there should be one for Houston during the same day as the one in San Marcos. If not perhaps it could be at a different time and schedule. And yes please do find since I'm obviously curious about a BYC Houston meet-up group

SWAP BIRDS!?!? Are you kidding? How does the TAHC not get wind of that?

You do realize that *should* an infected bird be brought to your property, you're flock, as well as anyone who visits with eggs/birds is subject to completel and total flock abatement by the State correct?

Are you ensuring that everyone who attends is P/T tested negative, with certification in hand before they enter your property?

From Texas Agrigultural Code - Chapter 168

Sec. 168.005. PUBLIC EXHIBITION. A person may not enter poultry in public exhibition unless the stock originates from a flock or hatchery free of pullorum disease and fowl typhoid or has a negative pullorum-typhoid test after the 90th day before the day of the exhibition. Chickens or turkeys entered in public exhibition must be accompanied by a certificate of purchase from the hatchery.
