2010 MN Swap Dates

It also looks like the MN Board of Animal Health is also cracking down on poultry sale more too. Please make sure your birds are tested before sales. I have all contact info for them above with complete rules.

I took the day off work, so will be there. Not quite sure what I'll be bringing yet. I'm trying to talk a bunch of friends into going along too. I don't really need anything but never know what I'll find. I might be on the look out for some amhearst hens, sq african geese, and more muscovies if anything. My mom is running the lunchstand so make sure and harass her a little. Don't let her out of their either. I turned my back last year and she had bought goats and an emu chick even.

Sky high. You get the ones that bring the newborn bottle kids in dog carriers. They get the cute factor and kids begging their parents. The jackson goat sale they only bring a fraction of the prices.

We're discussing whether or not to make the trek from Hastings to St. James. A lot will depend on the weather, I'm sure. But I've never been to a swap, so help a newbee out. What will I see there? How early should I come? Are winter meets and ones later in the spring much the same? How are they different. Ooooh! I can't wait to get some chickies!
