This is a little delayed, but seeing as i just found out myself I thought i'd share. For anyone planning on going to Carlson's Buy, Sell, & Trade Day's it's on April 24th not tomorrow the 17. The date listed on the uw extension website is wrong. Myself and some of the other local swap goers have contacted them, they say they don't know who listed it on there, but it wasn't them and that is the 24th not tomorrow as listed.

Just thought I should share for anyone planning to attend.

My sister and i were planning on going to the one west of Chippewa Falls. Anyone know if this is a very big one or what we can expect to find there? Is there usually any Quail or Peafowl? Or is it more just pigeons and chickens?

Has anyone gone to the Red Cedar Showdown in Menomonie, WI? It's only about 20 miles from my house and my daughter would like to go, but she's never shown her chickens (we couldn't show at the fair this year). We have shown rabbits...is it similar to that? Can you enter more than one bird in a class (i.e. both of her Salmon Fav hens would be in the same class). She's show in the youth class (she's 11).

Is anyone going from this group that could help out a couple of newbies?

The deadline is today to enter...I"m hoping the organizer Dan Paff gets my email because I cannot call until later tonight.

Thanks!~
Deb

Does anyone know what you all need to bring to sell chickens at a swap? I would like to sell some of my extras in spring but IDK what I need to do this. Thanks!
