Is this event open to folks who aren't serious breeders? I keep bees and garden in East Oakland, and we're building a home for chickens.

I'm not sure if this is an open event or not. I certainly wouldn't wish to intrude where I'm unwelcome.

This event is open to ANYONE and EVERYONE who likes/keeps/dreams about having chickens in the Bay Area... and beyond!

The great thing about a Chickenstock is that it helps build community and allows you to connect with other like minded people in your area.

Just got a donation for the get-together from Paul Bradshaw of Greenfire farms. He said "I'll send a dozen hatching eggs made up of the breeds we sell on the website. This time of year it probably means Swedish flower hens, Olandsk dwarf, isbars, etc."
